Stage 1: We receive either a .jpg or .tif file from the photographer, either via email, ftp or on a disc.
Stage 2: We then check the photo's quality & size before printing on our 12 ink giclee printer. All of our prints are lightfast for 75 years and are of the highest quality.
Stage 3: The photo's are then backed on to a conservation board using our dry mount vacuum press (This stops the photo's warping over time or in damp conditions).
Stage 4: Conservation mounts are cut (if required) using our computerised mount cutter to ensure precision cutting. The photos are then fixed to the mounts using a PH7 conservation tape.
Stage 5: Whilst all this is happening the frame is being cut using our mitre saw and joined with an underpinner. The glass and hardboard back is then cut to fit the frame.
Stage 6: The picture is fitted in the frame, ensuring no specks of dust have got inside the glass. The frame is then sealed with tape on the back and all necessary hanging fixings are attached.
